  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. If we can accommodate early check-in or late check-out, we’re happy to offer it for $25, just ask in advance.

    Is self check-in available?
    Yes, check-in is simple and contactless with a lockbox. Full details are sent before arrival.

    Is parking available?

    Yes, there is free private parking available on-site at the The Village - Matakana Condo.

    The Retreat - Point Wells Cabin has ample street parking right next to the property.

    The Residence - Point Wells house as a private driveway as well as ample street parking if you have extra vehicles.

  • Is the spa private?

    For The Retreat (cabin) or The Residence (home) bookings, the spa is private for your use. It is not included in The Village bookings.

    Do you provide towels for the spa?
    Yes, towels are provided.

    Can we use the sauna, ice bath, and hot tub anytime?
    Yes, you can!

  • What is the mobile sauna?
    It’s a wood-fired sauna experience we can bring to you (or you can try it on-site during select times). It’s a more rustic, authentic sauna experience.

    Can we book it during our stay?
    Yes, subject to availability. It’s a great add-on if you’re celebrating or want a private wellness session.

  • Are the properties suitable for families?
    Yes, families are welcomed at all three properties. We have flexible sleeping options and plenty of space to relax.

    Do you have a baby crib?
    Yes, we do. Please let me know if you would like it. 

    Can you help with local recommendations?

    Absolutely, we’ll share our favourite cafés, beaches, walks, and hidden gems in our digital guidebook.

  • Are parties allowed?
    No parties, please. We want to keep the space peaceful for everyone. If you would like to host a wedding or reception, please contact me. 

    Is smoking or vaping allowed?
    No smoking indoors, outdoors or anywhere on any of the properties. 

    Are pets allowed?
    Dogs are allowed when booking the cabin. There is a $25 pet fee.
